unit 4- What's your favorite singer? It's Eminem

1972-Marshall Bruce Mathers III is born(Eminem)

1999-He releases the album The Slim Shady and wins the Grammy 

 2000-He is arrested during  a fight at a store of cars 
  
 2003- he wins the Oscar for best original song with "Lose yourself"


 2004-The album Encore is released and becomes a chart-topper 

 2008- Eminem releases an autobiography entitled The Way I Am,detailing his struggles against poverty,drugs,fame,heartbreak and depression 

  2010- His first single,"Not Afraid" is released

She´s my favorite singer.
She's born on September 27th in Canada.
She's a pop rock and pop punk singer.
The albums "Let go" , "Under my skin" and "The Damn thing" sell over 32 million copies.
Her most famous song are "When you are gone" and "I'm with you".
Nowadays she's very succssessful and shows around the world.

Unit 4 - What's my favorite singer? They're JORGE AND MATEUS

Jorge and Mateus live in Itumbiara, Goias.
They starts in 2005 playing in bars and restaurants.
In 2008 they launches their first CD: "Jorge and Mateus live in Goiania"
Their first success is "Te tanto te querer" and "Pode chorar"
They are considered one of the icons of "Sertanejo universitário" kind of music.
They win a gold CD and DVD "Live in Goiania"
They are famous for their songs "Chove, chove" and "Aí já era"

Unit 4 - Who's your favorite singer or band?It's SHAKIRA

My favorite single is Shakira . She's born on February 2th 1977 and she is a native Spanish speaker and also speaks fluent English and Portuguese . In 1998 she releases album  " ¿ Donde están los ladrones ? " it is a critical succes selling over 10 million copies worldwide.
In 1995 , Shakira finds the " Pres Descalzos Foudation " . It's a Colombian charity with special schools for poor children all around Colombia .
She wins two Grammy Awards .

Unit 4 - What's my favorite singer? It's LUAN SANTANA

1991- Luan Santana is born on March 13th in Campo Grande.
2008- He presents for 30 thousand people at the Cowboy Festival in Barretos.
2009- In August he launches his first DVD, which was recorded in his hometown Campo Grande.
2009- He is recognized for his great sucess ''Meteoro''.
2009- In December Luan Santana closes its schedule with 30 shows performed during the year.
2010- In January he praticipates in the soap opera ''Malhação ID'' playing himself.
2010- Luan Santana receives the award for " revelation musical" trophy of the best year.
2010- In December he records his second DVD in Rio de Janeiro, with several susprises and high technology, surprising everyone.

I'm going to tell you about DIRE STRAITS band.
Mark Knopfler, his brother David Knopfler, John Illsley and Pick Withers create the classical rock group in 1977.
They last 18 years long.
They play bluesy style.
They win numerous music awards during their career, including three BRIT Awards, four Grammys, and two MTV Video Music Awards.
Dire Straits' most popular songs are "Sultans of Swing", "Romeo and Juliet", "Tunnel of Love", "Private Investigations", "Money for Nothing", "Walk of Life", "So Far Away" and "Brothers in Arms".
